The First Post

Welcome to our blog, the Adventures of The Turtle Trekkers.

I have always wanted to start a blog to document our big trip but needed a bit of a push - here we are, a month out from the start and with the help of No1 daughter I have my blog up and running!

We are leaving from Coffs Harbour NSW mid March 2011 and travelling north and inland through Tenterfield up to Qld and through many inland towns such as Longreach and Winton.  We plan to arrive in Kurumba, Qld and from there, depending on the road situation travel through to Darwin then down to Tennant Creek and finally ending up in Broome.  After Broome, we plan to travel back to Tennant Creek, Alice Springs and then head south to Port Augusta, SA and then back inland through to Coffs Harbour.


So much to do, so little time!! Good night all!
