More of Beautiful Blue Broome

Well, we didn't get to go fishing on Friday.  Had a reasonably early start and even though it was just on low tide thought that if there wasn't any water at the boat ramp, it would only be a short time before there was some.

Hmm, waiting..... waiting.....

The main Boat Ramp at Low Tide
We could have beach launched like many others were doing, but thought that The Turtle may have been a little bit too heavy for the sand.  Discretion being the better part of valour etc etc!!

Stopped and had a coffee (for The Deckie) and something stronger for The Captain, took a walk along the wharf and had a general look around the main Port area and still the tide had not come back in so we took Tuf Cat back to the Caravan Park and went to the beach for our daily dose of Vitamin D and a swim.

Saturday and we met up with some people from Melbourne that we had met in Darwin.  Ah!  we had a couple of very late Happy Hours during their stay near us.  Trish and David are doing the Big Lap as opposed to our Partial Lap.

Sunday started off a little bit different to most days.  We (well The Deckie) decided that we were going to do a real touristy thing and go for a camel ride on Cable Beach!!  Most people do the Sunset Ride or the pre-Sunset Ride in the afternoon but we thought that the morning one would be a little bit different.

The Deckie managed to drag The Captain out of bed early for the 8am start!  A camel ride was something that neither of us had experienced before and it turned out to be a wonderful experience!

Not real sure of each other!
Off We Go!!
After our 40 minute ride the poor old legs were a little bit wobbly but it didn't take long for us to get our land legs back.  Then it was off for a swim and a very quiet afternoon.
