Friday and Saturday in Normanton

Yes, we are still here and one would not think that it is actually well into autumn!  The days have been very pleasant and in the low to mid 30's, unfortunately the nights have been in the mid to high 20's - not much of difference but we are coping!

We have had Tuf Cat in the water - no fishing as there is still far too much water between them - but Louise has been learning very technical stuff like how to drive the boat as well as learning how to drive it off the trailer and then back on to it.  If one does it the right way it really impresses all of the other blokes at the boat ramp when they realise that "OMG - that's a girl doing that!"   Haven't had too many mishaps.  Louise has also driven the Turtle (and towing Tuf Cat) from the boat ramp to the caravan park - thank goodness for a very patient captain!!

The pushies have come in handy as we can ride around the 'Road Closed' barriers and check the water levels out ourselves - we like to live life on the edge!!
